1.Calculating the moon of Sha’ban for Ramadan
There are 12 months in a lunar year. The month Sha’ban is just the previous month of Ramadan. So, we should count down the month of Sha’ban to get the month Ramadan on time perfectly. Narrated in Hadith like this-
Abu Hurairah (Ra) reported God’s messenger as saying, "Calculate on the basis of the new moon of Sha'ban when Ramadan begins."
Tirmidhi transmitted it.
Mishkat al-Masabih 1975
2. Getting prepared to see the crescent of Ramadan
Getting prepared to see the crescent of Ramadan at the end of Shaban. It may be just next of the 29th or the 30th Shaban. Because, starting of fasting depends on seeing the crescent of the month of Ramdan. Such that narrated in Hadith-
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) mentioned Ramadan and said, "Do not fast unless you see the crescent (of Ramadan), and do not give up fasting till you see the crescent (of Shawwal), but if the sky is overcast (if you cannot see it), then act on estimation (i.e., count Sha'ban as 30 days).
Sahih al-Bukhari 1906
And saying Dua by seeing a New Moon
Bilal bin Yahya bin Talhah bin `Ubaidullah narrated: from his father, from his grandfather Talhah bin `Ubaidullah that when the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) would see a crescent moon, he would say: “O Allah, bring it over us with blessing and faith, and security and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah (Allāhumma ahlilhu `alainā bil-yumni wal-Īmān, was-salāmati wal-Islām, rabbī wa rabbuk Allāh).”

3. Avoiding Fasting on the day of Doubt
(If the weather conditions do not permit the new moon to be sighted, then Shaban has 30 days, and this 30th day is the day of doubt.)
"The Messenger of Allah used to fast Sha`ban and Ramadan, and he made sure to fast on Mondays and Thursdays."(Sunan an-Nasa'i 2187)
But among us who are not use to do like this continues fasting, they are not allowed to fast on the day of Doubt-
It was narrated that Silah said: "We were with 'Ammar and a roast sheep was brought and he said: 'Eat.' One of the people turned away and said: 'I am fasting 'Ammar said: Whoever fasts on the day concerning which there is doubt, has disobeyed Abu Al-Qasim (i.e., Mohammad peach be upon him)."' '
Sunan an-Nasa'i 2188
4.Not to lose strength by keeping fasting at the end of Shaban
"The Messenger of Allah used to fast Sha`ban and Ramadan, and he made sure to fast on Mondays and Thursday."(Sunan an-Nasa'i 2187)
It’s sunnah to keep fasting during Shaban. But if we fear to lose our power by keeping fasting at the end of Shaban month, we shouldn’t keep fasting then (It’s disliked). Such that narrated in Hadith-
Abu Hurairah narrated that: the Messenger of Allah said: "When a half of Sha'ban remains then do not fast."
(What Has Been Related About It Being Disliked to Fast During the Second Half of Sha'ban for The Sake of Ramdan)

5. Studying and remembering Mas_ala-Masail and Duas about Ramadan and Fasting
We know that, the month of Ramadan comes in a year after 11 months. We may have probability to forget the Mas_ala-Masail and Duas about Ramadan and Fasting. So, we should study and memorize those before Ramadan because Ramadan is month of doing ‘Amal.
6. Less Development Goals in worldly wealth
We try to take a chance to do a lot business for making a lot of money in Ramadan and of following Eid. We know that, ‘as much making money as much working hard’. So, for making a lot money in our company, we have to make our employees work hard as well long time. As well we should also keep in mind, ‘as much trying/making for world so less trying/making for hereafter’. There is the good news for the employers who make things easy for their employees.
Prophet (peach be upon him) said-
‘If anyone makes things easy for his slave during it, God will forgive him and free him from hell’.
Mishkat al-Masaabih Masabeeh 1965
7. Studying the holy Quran
We should take special plan for studying the holy Quran with understanding. And we should complete reciting the holy Quran as many times as we are able. Because our prophet (peach and blessing be upon him) did like this with Jibreel (Gabriel). Narrated in hadith-
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) was the most generous of all the people, and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of Ramadan when Gabriel met him. Gabriel used to meet him every night of Ramadan to teach him the Qur'an. Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) was the most generous person,
even more generous than the strong uncontrollable wind (in readiness and haste to do charitable deeds).
Sahih al-Bukhari 6
As well narrated in Hadith that, Ramadan and the Quran will intercede for a man.
‘Abdallah b. ‘Amr reported God’s messenger as saying, “Fasting and the Qur’an intercede for a man. Fasting says, ‘O my Lord, I have kept him away from his food and his passions by day, so accept my intercession for him.’ The Qur’an says, ‘I have kept him away from sleep by night, so accept my intercession for him.’ Then their intercession is accepted."
Baihaqi transmitted it in Shu'ab al-iman.

8. Planning for Umrah (If capable)
Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, "(The performance of) 'Umrah during Ramadan is equal to Hajj (pilgrimage)." Or said, "Equal to the performance of Hajj with me." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Riyad as-Salihin 1278
9. Looking for Lailatul Qadr on the last decade of Ramadan
‘A'isha reported God's messenger as saying, “Seek lailat al-qadr on an old number night among the last ten in Ramadan.”
Bukhari transmitted it. Mishkat al-Masabih 2083
10. Making I’tikaf on the last decade of Ramdan

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, "Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e. Allah will not accept his fasting.)" Sahih al-Bukhari 1903
• Paying Zakat during Ramadan but we never miss to give before or after Ramadan in need. We should also keep in mind that; obligation of Zakat doesn’t depend on Ramadan. It depends on filling up Nisab and a lunar year. So, it may any time of the year.
